Powering the 2023 Lexus RX 350

The previous model year RX had a V6, and the new Lexus RX performance features include a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive with available all-wheel drive. The new turbocharged engine offers more acceleration off the line due when compared to the 2022 models. The all-wheel-drive RX trims have a zero-to-60 time of 7.2 seconds, which is impressive for a heavy midsize SUV.

Lexus offers the RX 350 with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder, and the automaker also offers the RX 350h and a sport-performance RX 500h with mild-hybrid powertrains with electric motors. The automaker will release a plug-in hybrid RX 450h+ in the future.

Standard Driver-Assistive Features

Lexus loads the 2023 RX with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite of driver-assistive technology. The standard features include Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Traffic-Sign Recognition. The interior comfort features include synthetic leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and heated front seats.

The Lexus RX interior gets even better on the Premium+ trim with genuine leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a 14-inch touchscreen, and the “Hey Lexus” virtual assistant. Lexus adds semi-aniline leather seats with upgraded comfort technology and a head-up display in the Luxury trim.
