Lexus Introduces ES F Sport
Lexus Introduces ES F Sport! In it’s seventh-generation, the new ES is more spacious, quieter, and safer than ever before with a sharpened performance, allowing for the introduction of the first ever ES F Sport. The new version utilizes the all-new Global Architecture the K(GA-K) platform. Longer by 2.6 inches and wider by 1.8 inches, the model also features two dramatically different grille designs. The standard ES 350 and the ES 300h use vertical bars that radiate out from the center while the ES 350 F SPORT model adopts a blacked out pattern consisting of “L”-shaped clusters with corresponding cut outs at each corner of the fascia.
“The ES has always been an elegant luxury sedan. For this generation, we have added daring design elements that challenge the traditional expectations of buyers,” said Project Chief Designer, Yasuo Kajino.
The ES F SPORT adds a rear spoiler, additional rear badging and a a darker lower valance and standard 19-inch wheels. For all models, two new colors Moonbeam Beige Metallic and Sunlit Green are available, while the F SPORT also gets the exclusive Ultra Sonic Blue Mico 2.0. The F SPORT also gets increased performance through Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and Sport+ mode that chooses the most aggressive engine, transmission and suspension settings for the ultimate sport performance.
Yoshiaki Ito, chief test driver for Lexus, describes the ES’s heightened level and refined definition of comfort by saying: “We want every kind of driver to feel a sense of complete control when they are behind the wheel of the ES. It’s a level of comfort that goes beyond merely delivering a smooth ride.”
